Previously, he was the former President (2013-14) of CISSA, the IT student society at the University of Melbourne. During his tenure, he established initiatives that improved the representation of women in the committee by introducing a Women’s Officer and an affirmative action target; ramped up industry engagement and developed new initiatives and events for students.

Matthew also co-founded UNIHACK Melbourne, Victoria’s largest hackathon for university students. As a result of his efforts, Matthew received a Gold Disruptor Award in the ICT Higher Education Student of the Year category of the 2015 ACS Digital Disruptors Awards in Sydney.

Ducky is currently studying computing at RMIT. Her main study interests are Games Technology & GIS. She works part time as a developer at local Web Development agency, Takeflight, where she mostly uses Django and a beautiful CMS, Wagtail.
Other interests Ducky has in her spare time are; attempting to learn foreign languages, playing games and teaching kids how to code and being involved in her local communities, she is the founder of the first Tasmania wide games jam, Tasjam, and is one of Tasmania's Girl Geek Coffee Ambassadors. She has been on many local Tasmanian tech community committees (e.g. the Australian Computer Society's Tasmanian branch, UTAS Computing Society), and continues to stay involved.

Joshua is a serial volunteer and entrepreneur.

Since leaving the IT industry to start university, he sought out ways to keep himself as involved as possible and find new passions to improve the overly theoretical university degrees.

He has attended events like CompCon, YITCON, /dev/world and various Startup Weekends and has had a hand in running events such as GovHack. He is co-founder of Griffith's entrepreneurial student group, Studio39, is a School of ICT Peer Mentor and member of the local ACS committee.

Josh has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the Top100 Future Leader's Award and Suncorp Information Technology Award.

Following the successful completion of an interstate internship, he has been offered numerous graduate roles for 2017.

Joel is a Developer at TechnologyOne, where he is a part of the Business Process Management team. Prior to starting at TechOne, he completed a Software Systems and Aerospace Engineering degree at The University of Queensland. Joel has a strong interest in teaching and mentoring, helping out with the NCSS Challenge as a tutor and returning to UQ to assist with teaching a computing course. He has been involved with open source communities and projects for many years, and is the president of HUMBUG, Brisbane’s main open source community group. He especially enjoys the wide variety of ways to contribute to open source, such as providing documentation or translations to projects, in addition to writing code.

Widely regarded as the most legendary recruiter of ALL TIME, Josh Wulf is the only Digital Recruiter in History to be simultaneously featured on the front page of Computerworld, The Register, and the Norwegian IT Times. You probably already know who he is, but if you don’t Google him, before others around find out that you don’t know what time it is. 2016 – it’s now.

Harold graduated from UQ in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science, Majoring in Psychology. He bounced around the corporate recruiting world for some time before selling his soul and dignity to work at Just Digital People. People (allegedly) call him the next-big-thing in recruitment, hit him up for a chat and make up your own mind.

Jacinta Richardson worked as a freelance contractor throughout her University years before starting Obsidian Consulting Group with friends and later Perl Training Australia with her partner. Outside of her consulting businesses, Jacinta has worked in a number of big and small workplaces.
